I don't know yet if it's just my 2017 Macbook Pro, but when I plug older drives into the approved apple usb adapter it runs funky making all kinds of clicky noises, yet plugging the drive into the 2014 Macbook Pro and no issues.

Is this a known problem or should I bring it in?

My MacBook Pro 15" bought in December 2015 won't take the CAT 5 network cable from router to MacBook. Last used on a HP laptop. As I'm told that if there is more than 10 wifi users nearby it cuts the download speed was cut from 39.7 Mb/sec to 3.3Mb/sec.
over the past year it's got so I will believe anything.
Should there have been a network cable supplied with the MacBook?

I appreciate the response, but you aren't answering much.

My Xbox 360 controller doesn't work in bootcamp, all it says is that the controller isn't USB3 compatible and to plug it into a USB 2 Port... So yes you are correct not all usb 2 devices will work
