So

I just got the MBA 13", a change from cMBP 13.

I'm finding the 1440*900 taking some getting used to. I realise it's more screen real estate but god text is so small on sites! I don't like to zoom text 'cos website layout changes. Anyone find it hard to adjust to? I'm short sighted which doesn't help. This is whilst using laptop on my lap in bed.

I guess it's just not an iPad i.e. you can hold an iPad closer to your eyes.

The Text zoom in Safari (aA) expands the graphics as well doesn't it? I didn't think the layout changed like it used to.

You can also try full screen zooming with CTRL-"scroll up" after you enable it in the Accessibility(?) System Preference. Just press CTRL and "two finger scroll up" on the track pad and it should zoom your whole screen. CTRL "two finger scroll down" on the trackpad to zoom back out.

I use that all the time on my 15" MBP.
