Hey,

I apologize in advance for the stupid questions, but I figure I am best to continue using 1 thread instead of starting a new thread each time I have a question.

Question: In Final Cut 5, how do I create chapter Markers? I wish to be able to transfer these to DVD Studio...

and how do I transfer video from Final Cut to DVD Studio. (Do I export using quicktime conversion?)

Thx everyone

First you must place you playhead to the desired point you wish to have your chapter marker. Than hit "m" which will make a marker hit "m" again and it should bring up a menu of what you wish to do with the marker: chapter, score, delete, etc.

As for export to DVD studio you must export using compressor, mpeg2 for the video file and a AIFF file for audio. There are some presets in thier as well for DVD project lengths and such. It takes some tinkering around with to find the desired size and look you want.

hope this helps!

Have you tried just searching in the Final Cut Pro PDF manual?
