I've got a rather weird problem. Recently, the pitch of all the sounds played from my MBP seems to be lower than usual. I think it's a hardware problem because the problem exists in both OS X and Windows. It sounds fine when I'm using headphones though.

The problem is that the difference is pitch is quite minor and is quite hard to prove. Is there any sort of test that I can do to verify if there is indeed a problem with my speakers?

Dear,

What do you mean with "lower"

Lower in pitch?
Lower in volume?
Lower in sound pressure level?

With best regards,
Bas
