the touch uses 2 flash Chips...so no 16gb iphone in sight?

IFixit.com just post the tear down for the ipod touch.
The 8GB uses 2 4GB flash chips...and i guess the 16 uses 2 8GB chips since the space is there.
But in the iphone there is only room for 1 flash chip unless they make it thicker.
So i guess no 16 GB iphone for a while...at least till prices of those flash chips come down.
What are other peoples thoughts

I believe Samsung is sampling it's 16GB NAND Flash chip, but it's not in production until later this year. I would think that part would make it into an iPhone at some point.
