Really considering switching to the 6. Sounds like the 6 is the better model :(

Both are great models, but all and all I think the 6 is a better fit for me. It sin as unwieldy, requires no display scaling, and is lighter.

I thought embargo until tomorrow. Bad, no review units for them next year :p

Engadget posted their review too.

What review did you read?

More PPI and battery life FTW!

It does have both of those advantages, but comes with trade offs. One must weight the pros and cons to see which phone is best for them.

The 6 Plus is heavier, even heavier than the iPhone 4s, and it requires screen scaling. Also OIS can sometimes decrease picture quality, but I doubt Apple has a sloppy implementation. The Plus does, however, have a bigger screen and moderately better battery life.

Agree 100%....
The I6 and pluses is NOT revolutionary....Apple is playing catch up.

Big top and bottom bezel is still outdated....Fire Jony Ive...he reached his creativity limits

Funny way of interpreting the reviews. Whatever floats your boat man.

The scaling was mentioned in an Arestechnia article, the Verge had another article on how most manufactured implement OIS in a way that decrease normal photos, but I doubt Apple would do that, and the weight is just a tech spec on Apple's website.

Yup lol, the Plus actually makes text and images look sharper according to reviews. Downsampling is overblown by users here.

The Arstechina article said that screen quality was unaffected, but that iOS animations and transitions were not as smooth as the iphone 6. I don't think it's a big deal, but it does put more strain on the A8.
