what is the view from the window where you work on your mac ? it can be at home, at work, even on a plane!

it must be from where your mac is, and unless you work on the beach, no tropical scenery!

(by the way, when i say 'work' i mean use your mac:D)

right, here we go: the view from my hall room at lboro.

(also, camera phones are accepted, as you may not have the ready use of a digicam at work).

Pretty nice for the only view from my dorm room. That garden in front is full of flowers in the summer and in the spring the little trees have tons of white flowers. Best landscaping on campus. :D

EDIT: 500th post!

It's dark outside now so its a bit difficult to see. (Yeah, that's snow on the ground).

I'll try to get some better pictures tomorrow.

Edit: Found some pictures taken back in June. They're not taken from within the room I have my computers, but it's close enough.

Alright I'm just an idiot and can't figure out how to attach thumbnails...

And is there a link I can click to view my posts? I always have to post a reply to something and then click my name and find my posts that way. I must be doing something wrong.

Either scroll down a bit and go to "Manage Attachments', or host them on something like ImageShack.

As to viewing your posts, how about subscribing to a thread? Click on 'Thread Tools' - 'Subscribe to this Thread'.

Hope this helps.

As for my view, they'll be coming along another day, it's dark here

Some of these are from my bed room, the other are from my balcony. I usually use my PB in the bed room, on a nice night, ill sit out on the balcony as well.

The 1st one is from last winter if you couldn't tell. Sorry for the bad quality, still figuring out my camera.

The view from our living room window, looking northwards across the city from fifth floor level. Great for watching thunderstorms!

The view from the southfacing side is nicer – views across the city centre, the river and across to Lincolnshire – but the flats on that side a bit more pricey. ;) I've attached a pic of that view too, taken from the stairwell.

For 2 weeks each year I take my trusted clamshell to sunny North Wales for its annual holiday. I have to sit on the door step to get any reception on my mobile to connect to the web, & this is the view.
pm.jpg

I though that this is much nicer than my overgrown suburban garden.

EDIT:
Hang on I just found this pic, from the window next to my mac.

Took the photo last year right after Game 4 of the playoffs from the balcony outside my dorm room. When its nice outside I'll usually sit on the balcony to work.. today's the first time we've seen sun over here in Boston for over a week and a half :)
