I can't quite figure out what this is (other than a 64-page "book" listed for $39.95). There sure is some weird stuff on Amazon.com.

I should hop on this bandwagon and become a book author. I'll just copy/paste my favourite Wikipedia articles, put them in a nice binding, and sell it. I'll be rich!

It's OK - but the plot is often self contradicting and many of the events are clearly fictitious. As a work of fiction, it's about as good as the worst of Dan Brown.

As for the book in question- so, it's pretty much a software development book, plagiarized (if you will) from Wikipedia? If you need me, I'll be at Barnes and Noble.
