...was not the 5C

Not the 5S

Not the presenters

Not the "this is the best phone ever blah blah blah..."

It was...the audience. It cringes me to hear the "woos" and the cheers and the hollars from the bloggers like a little teenage Taylor swift concert.

Agree?

What if I told you its not the bloggers that cheered but rather the Apple employees who have spent the past several months developing these products and are excited to see their hard work finally get release.

Apple employees do attend these events and I'm sure they're proud of what they do, and they should be allowed to be proud.

why did Tim Cook send an email to his worker bees then. sounds to me like its predominantly media oogling over a plastic phone.

All the cheering and whooping by employees is a toe curling American thing that is annoying and embarrassing. So yes I agree,

Don't get me wrong:

I'm not saying they shouldn't clap.

But especially whoever the guy was that had that really quick and high pitched "woo" really just made me cringe.

There was no worst part. Get used to Apple 2.0, this is the way it is. And that's the good news. We are witnessing Apple learning to adapt without their master pitchman & hype master.

no... the worst part of the keynote was announcing that pre-order is not available for 5S... :(

Me, I'm going with having to listen to Cook's voice (no offence to Texans but he does have a particularly grating voice combined with his accent) together with the numerous slip ups. Beancounters aren't meant for public speaking.
