Has anyone else encountered this? I just noticed it about an hour ago when taking some pictures.

Here are some examples that demonstrate it:

Notice the black spot on the wall. In the far away pic it's pretty small. When I zoom in when taking a photo it shows much bigger in the photo and in a different part of the screen. I went back and looked at my previous camera roll photos and it's present in all of them - I just never noticed it.

This is a launch-day iPhone 5.


Genius Bar appointment already set for tomorrow afternoon.


Has anyone else had this issue? It happens with EVERY photo I take. There is nothing on the lens, either, so that's not it.
 
I had a weird spot as well, needless to say they replaced the phone

Dust, and there a few members this has happened to. They will give you a replacement in a white box (not refurb according to most)
