Hi,

I changed the network name of my iMac. Every now and again on my MacBook I get an error message 'There was a problem connecting to the server "my old iMac network name".

I have checked the Keychain and to my knowledge I have cleared out all the old entries. Is it possible some app is trying to access it, how do I track down which one?

So I know what I did to break it, but how do I fix it?

Thanks.

I fixed it. Posting back for anybody else that might encounter a similar problem.

I noticed an app I run, iTrash, had a process running called gmatevents which was not responding in Activity Monitor. It occurred to me the events might be related because they appeared to start up about the same time. I emptied my Trash and the gmatevents process stopped pinwheeling and I no longer get the '...problem connecting to the server' dialog.
