There are always some weird camera rumors for every iPhone. I doubt they will limit this to just the Plus model. Further fragmenting the iPhone line would not be a good move for Apple.

I agree that apple would not limit this to the plus model only. It just wouldn't make sense. If someone wants a smaller phone they don't get the better camera but they have done it in the past with the iPhone 6 and 6 plus. Giving the 6 plus the optical image stabilization.
