There is no way to update just mail & calendar without upgrading fully to Lion, right? I like the new features/interfaces of Mail and Calendar and wouldn't mind paying to upgrade those two alone, but am not interested in doing a full upgrade to Lion at this time. I'm guessing this is not possible...but just in case... is it? TIA :)
 
Pacifist is an application for installing individual applications from the Mac installers, but it isn't ready for Lion yet. Roaringapps reports it would be ready by the end of the summer.

I would think, however, that because of the tight integration of these apps with the system you would be inviting major disaster by trying to use them without a Lion install. There are several good Mail and Calendar alternatives out there; perhaps one of those would suit you.
