OK, this thermal grease issue could easily ruin a computer. It is obvious that this is a screwup. Can someone tell me if, in your opinion, this is a good reason to hold off? Do you think it is fixed yet, or is this one of those Rev A issues?
 
It's a good excuse not to buy, not a good reason, IMO.

Plenty of people don't have problems with heat, the latest firmware has all but fixed the issue, and those that still have problems can get them fixed at Apple Stores by having the heat sink re-mounted. (Or some users just do it themselves.)

Of course the MacBooks haven't even displayed this issue at all; made by an entirely different vendor if memory serves.
