These of you that preordered the iPhone 8 / 8 Plus, were there any surprises during the preorder process such as an unexpected form coming up to fill out which in result slowed down the whole preorder process? I remember last year these that picked the ATAT and T-Mobile option when preordering the 7/7 Plus got screwed including myself during the preorder as an additional unexpected form asking for last 4 digits of social or the wireless account holder and phone number prompt came up which significantly slowed down the preorder process resulting in a 2-3 week wait on the device within the first minutes of the preorders going live as opposed to a release day delivery.

Buying a sim-free unlocked phone speeds up the process exponentially. Took me 20 seconds on the Apple Store app. Then rolled back over and went back to sleep.
