I sure hope not. I don't want a really big iPhone or a full sized iPad. I'm happy with the small iPhone (5s) and the iPad Mini. Suits me just fine. I'll be really bummed if they discontinue the Mini. :(

You took my idea!

Yes next year will be the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s+, iPad Air 3, and iPad Pro.

A real curve ball to everyone is if they made the iPhone Six S Plus run IPAD apps.

Would they like to? Probably. My 6+ was $850. Even after the cuts the carriers get, they still probably pocket more per 6+ than per iPad Mini.

Will they? I'm not convinced. I think they took this opportunity to push the Mini one notch down the spec curve, to make the higher-margin 9.7" model more attractive by comparison.

Do you own both a Six Plus and a Mini? How often do you find yourself wanting to use the mini?

Personally I rarely use my mini now, and it is in combination of the landscape mode apps and the 16:9 screen ratio for watching movies.

Why? There are people that buy both.

to small of a group of people to justify cost. If you own a iPhone 6 or 6 plus....i find the mini useless. Actually, for those who own a Plus....I think the Pro is where that crowd is.

I own a 6+ and Mini. I use both regularly and one cannot replace the other. My buddy is planning on getting a Gold Mini on release day and he has a 6+ as well.

If I had the 6+, I would still use the Mini. They both are good for different things. The extra screen space makes a difference, lots of iPad apps would feel very cramped on the smaller screen.
