If you paid by debit card, its probably just a temp hold

So, you ordered an iPhone, and they confirmed your order. And you're wondering why you were charged?

Sounds like a mystery for the ages.

What has appeared on your debit card is a temporary hold, at least that is what they do in the USA. It will drop off after a week or so, it is just to confirm you have the funds.

More than likely you phone will take the 1 to 2 weeks before it arrives. You will know it is getting close as they will do a full charge to your debit card before they ship it to you.

There might be limited supply in Ireland and depending on when you placed your order, you might have to wait in line. Lots of us here had to wait. The 4S is a GREAT phone!

thanks for the feed back
been help full
hope the jailbreak for the iPhone is out by the time i get it
