Thin ip7 Cases with Drop Protection

I have an Otterbox (Defender I think it is), but I hate how bulky it is. Also, people have told me they hear me better without it.

Any suggestions for thinner cases that also protect well? I'm always very careful with my phone, but going "naked" cost me today as it slipped out of my sweat pants pocket, onto the street, and cracked some.

Looking for a good case now to prevent this from happening again. I think I'll get it fixed and then add protection.
