Apple.com told me if you bought your iPhone 4 online, you might be able to return it to a store, but you have to check. Some stores claim they cannot process a credit to your credit card but can only give you a store credit.

Other stores will give you the refund to your credit card, it just depends.

The phone must be received within the 30 day time period, so take that into account when you are shipping. Apple told me it was 30 days from receipt, but to be sure, you can call them and ask in your case, what date must the phone be received by.
