Things to turn off on iPhone before traveling abroad

Will be turning off push email and other obvious things like background refresh...Any other precautions I should take before heading to France and Spain for a week?

Are you going to be using the local sim for data as well? Or just calls/sms? If it's the latter, I'd suggest turning off cellular data entirely.
