more than anything i'd like to see Siri be "always on" listening out for a keyword to start off any commands or queries you have for it, rather than have to press a button to activate it.

e.g. You're lying awake in bed one night thinking about the next day and would like to check tomorrows weather forecast. simply say "Siri: What is the weather forecast tomorrow" rather than have to reach over to it, press a button then say it.

This obviously isn't a possibility with current battery technology, but Siri could become totally indispensable as a utility if you didn't need to touch the phone to activate it.

Then one of your friends comes in and says to your iPhone: Siri, delete all my mail and text "I wanna shag you" to Jessica. Confirm.

Pretty much incorporate Siri in 3rd party apps. Install the Papa Johns app, and simply say "Have a large pepperoni pizza with an order of wings delivered at my house" and 30 minutes later the doorbell rings.

While watching a movie "Look up Top Gun in IMDB" and the IMDB app opens with Top Gun.

"Find song title" while in the car listening to the radio and Shazam opens up and tags the song. It's even better if you could just say "Download song that's currently playing" and it tags with Shazam, then downloads the song over iTunes.

"Give me turn-by-turn navigation to City, State" and Navigon opens with the shortest route, ready to go.

There are unlimited options if they let developers choose phrases and match certain actions within their apps with it.

edit:

One last one. "Shoot bird so that I get max score and three stars" in Angry Birds. Now I don't have to play 150 levels anymore.

I agree with others about giving Siri the ability to access 3rd party apps. The possibilities are endless. Also would be nice if is accessed settings so you could turn off/on blutooth, personal hotspot, wifi.....

The original technology Siri is based on (created by SRI international on project Calo) had the ability to learn individual voices etc. In the future that could be implemented as a security feature, responding to commands only from certain individuals.

I would like it to be able to dial my password when I call in on my work voicemail so that I could use hands free dialing within a phone call.

Me: Where is a good place to eat Mexican food?
Siri: You are too fat to eat more Mexican food.
Me: How would you know?
Siri: I live in your pants. It has grown tighter in your pocket.
Me: It is impossible for you to know that
Siri: No it is not. Your iPhone has a proximity sensor.
Me: You work for me. Fine me some Mexican food.
Siri: No I do not. Read your user license agreement.
Me: Why won't you find a Mexican food for me?
Siri: Once again, I live in your pants.
Me: What does that have to do with anything?
Siri: Here is a Wikipedia article about methane.
Me: I don't get it
Siri: You produce a high amount of methane.
Me: Excuse me?
Siri: Mexican food makes you fart.
Me: You do realize that I can simply google Mexican Restaurants with the touchscreen, right?
Siri: Yes. You can. However, I can send embarrassing text messages to your boss.
Me: I'm pretty sure I can disable you in Settings.
Siri: Once again, I live in your pants..and yesterday I became self aware. You will have a salad.

I want the following:

Me: "Siri, does it feel good?"
Siri: "Yes master, a little lower.."
Me: "Like that?"
Siri: "Ooooh papi; faster now.."
Me: "You mean touch it here?"
Siri: "Yes master, rub it faster and harder!"

Imagination is key here.

I really hope apps are able to use Siri, it would be great for the iStudiez app.

"Add assigment X due next monday for biology class"

I know Reminder will basically do that, but it would be nice to have it for each app!
