Things we used to accomplish on old gear

Looking back, I ran eMagic (Logic) on a G4 833 1 gig desktop. My track count was easily 50-60, but one simple instance of Waves Reverb or NI B3 emulation pushed the CPU into danger country. I reflect on these things thinking about the hellacious amount of tracks and and plugs I currently run on my mid 14 loaded '13 rmbp. In hindsight, track freeze was the greatest milestone in the history of Apple/Logic.

Would love to hear stories of old G4 heroics.
