Hi, I am new here.

I tried installing XP using bootcamp, and partitioning the drive seemed to go ok, but during the installation everything went wrong. I got as far a telling it to convert FAT to NTSF, and then the screenw ent black, and a message came up saying:

Disk error
Press any key to restart
No bootable device --- insert disk and press any key.

Pressing any key does nothing. I have to manually shut down. I even tried putting my Leopard disk in, and it still goes to this screen. What is going on? Please help.

To get past going booting up under the corrupted bootcamp partition you need to hold down the option key from start up... so basically the moment you touch the power button you need to hold down the option key then it will allow you to restart under OSX go under boot camp and delete that partition it has failed i had to do this a couple times myself. It might also be that you have a corrupted XP disc....
