Hello to all, I was just wondering on what sort of items you have found on the side of the street, in a hotal room ETC.

I'll start it off

1. Notes
2. Grocery lists
3. Pens and Pencils

MUST VALUE: A stapler

I once found a startled Italian woman cleaning my pensione room, when I walked in wearing only a pair of pants (that's underwear for those who don't live the UK ;) ).

I don't know who was the more embarrassed.

Most was £20 on my school stairs. Found another £10 that day too :D

By the side of the road, lots and lots of roadkill

Low Moment: Box full of Puppies. Someone just left them in an empty parking lot.

Freaky Stuff: Polaroids of some sexual deviant that took pictures of himself. There was a bunch of us there, we all had a good laugh at that...

Expensive Stuff: I once found a $100 bill

20USD on the ground of a parking lot....I was pretty young, and my mom said me split it with my brother...I wasn't very happy about that!!

$70 in a wallet with no ID (or anything else for that matter), and another time I found a $20 bill on the sidewalk.

Both times I turned them in of course, but after one month they were given back to me. :)

Also, at Disneyland I found a cell phone and set of passes in a lanyard, and turned those in also.

ive found earphones, a hat, and many many tennisballs ad golfballs and frisbee golf discs. yea i take it upon myself to go golfball/ frisbee golf disc hunting in lakes. sometimes ill wade forever in hopes of getting a sweet frisbee!

Ice-T walking through the Trocadero, Piccadilly Circus London, about 10 years ago with his posse. He was quite grateful.:)

-a heap of gay porn littered all over my street, and then an hour later it was gone!?
- a laptop that someone had put in my locker.

that is all the wierd kinda stuff, i shall post more later as im in an IT class now

Cell Phone once. $11 another time.

I go Dumpster Diving a lot, and I have found lots of valuables. For example, I once found an entire working 386 complete with working keyboard and mouse.

^^I'm glad you turned him in and didn't keep him for yourself.

I've found mobile phones, wallets, USB thumb drives at my uni library. I don't know why people are so forgetful at the library.

Outside of uni, I haven't found much.

I found a purse several years ago on an empty commuter train on my way home.

Trying to contact the person, I had to go through her belongings looking for a telephone number. Inside, her life unraveled before my eyes, as she kept little bits of information...

She moved from another city in the last week. She was an unwed teenage mother of a 2-year old child. Boyfriend was charged with physical abuse. She had $120 dollars... probably her entire savings fleeing. I felt bad for her.

• A few dozen rotting lobster carcasses on the side of a road/sidewalk that I had to walk by on the way to school every morning.

• Used condoms in various locations.

• An unidentified animal corpse in a brown paper bag on a road right by my house. It was there for a few days before someone re-bagged the stinking mess in a fresh paper bag and left it there.

• A Gumby figurine in a parking lot. I was a very young kid at the time, so I kept it.

• Someone left some G.I. Joe armored personnel carrier toy on my front lawn when I was a kid. I kept that as well.

• Porno mag in my company's dumpster. Unlike the above toys, I didn't keep that one. ;)

• A duffle bag with with some ratty clothing items.

• A coconut in my mailbox.

Maybe someday I'll find something really good, like money.
