I placed on an order for a 1TB version of the Vision Pro but am really having second thoughts now. I have a Quest and don’t ever use it and while I think this is going to be much different and better than that I just don’t see what I’m going to ultimately use this for once the novelty wears off. I may not cancel it but rather than purchasing this, realizing it’s cool but not something I‘ll really use and ultimately deciding to return it, it saves me the hassle of having to take it back.

You can always try it out for 14 days and then have Apple send you a return box without having to go into an Apple store.

I totally get it, OP. I have the Quest 3 and I only use it for one game: First Person Tennis. Other than that, I don’t use it. But with the Vision Pro, I am going to force myself to use it daily to justify spending so much. lol.

That’s actually a very valid concern that everybody here tends to dismiss. There are certain purchases that seem really cool conceptually but then end up collecting dust after you’ve gotten it.

I had the first PlayStation vr. Pretty cool. Very low tech. But i never wanted to use it. It just seemed like so much more work to put it on to do anything.

I wonder if it’ll be the same for this. We see the idea of Vision Pro and like “OHHH WOWWW HOLOGRAMS EVERYWHERE I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO USING MY IPAD” but then actually using it, you notice it hurts your head after a half hour and it’s hard to get into the mood to put on a headset when you get home. Wanna watch YouTube? A movie? Vision Pro is cool. But you might just rather turn on the tv in front of you than put on a headset with a battery pack
