well i was using my macbook and it went over to battery, i noticed the macsafe light wasnt on.

checked the connector and it was in ok everything looks fine, turned it off at the mains and switched it back on again and its gone back on ok and haven't noticed anything unusall.

not sure if we had a blip on the power or something i thought the light flickered slightly but i could have been imagnineing things.

does the macbook magsafe have any kind of tripout protection in it, seems strange a power off / power on and its fine but the light on the connector had definately gone out and the macbook definatly swtiched to battery.

I think the power bricks must have some overheating protection or something similar. I used to have this problem sometimes with my old iBook charger, the light would just go out and when I felt the brick it was burning hot.

I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you start seeing other symptoms.
