So my current laptop is about ready to bite the dust. Waiting for the new MBP 13" is not really an option for me unless it ends up releasing in April. I have a couple questions about it:

1) How is the glare of the screen and what is the best way to deal with it? I have a very important test coming up that involves about 6 hours of essay writing. I don't want a screen that is going to be terribly straining on my eyes while word processing.

2) Have the HD3000 issues been resolved for Civ 5? Can this laptop run it at the base model?

If you're concerned about the glare, you might want to think about getting the MBA '13 as it is less glare-y.

I was just reading up on that. It appears Power Support is the one many opt for. I'd be interested to hear some experiences with this product.
