thinking about buying a new mac pro but have some questions

As i stated i am thinking about buying a new mac pro and i do a lot of rendering and my question is how much faster in rendering and encoding is the 2.93 ghz 8 core compared to the 2.26 ghz 8 core. also i went to owc and found a decent priced monitor,will it work as long as it is dvi.thanks

and what is the differnce between the Nahalem and previous generation

Any DVI monitor will work.

The 2.93 will be faster, for sure

I'm 99% sure that the Nahalem has a faster FSB and some other cool doohickies.
