I currently own a 2011 iMac, and it's coming to the end of it's three year applecare, which is traditionally when i've upgraded my machines. There are so many things I love about it, but the price tag seems to be more and more extortionate these days, especially as i'm desperately waiting for apple to include SSD as standard.

Anyway largely due to price reasons, i'm considering switching back to a windows 7/8 based PC. I currently use bootcamp for gaming, so it's not like i'm completely new to it, but one killer feature I miss is expose/mission control.

I've experimented with a few windows clones, but they're all very jerky/rough around the edges in comparison with the real deal. For me this is the single thing I use most in OSX, so it's very frustrating.

Does anyone know of a nice smooth clone? Alternatively, anyone have any thoughts on switching back in general?

Thanks in advance!
