Thinking about returning my 16gb for the 16gb 4G LTE

I've had the iPad 16gb for about a day now and the 16gb seems perfect for me. I am considering, though, returning it and getting the 16gb 4g Verizon version. I already have an iPhone 4S with unlimited data. My question is though, do I have to get a separate $30 data plan for the iPad? Will I still have unlimited? Is there a way I can just switch the data between my phone and iPad?

i am in the exact same situation, but looking at switching for the ATT version. unless your iphone 4s is jailbroken and you have set up some type of tethering, yes you will have to get a separate data plan for the ipad. you cannot simply switch the data plans between the devices.

You would have to get a different plan for the iPad. You won't have unlimited data either. What I am thinking about doing is just swapping sim cards since I have a 4g phone with unlimited data from Verizon
