Thinking about trashing my iMac 8800GS for one of the new Pro's...

I am thinking about getting rid of my iMac for the new 13" or 17" macbook pro. My question how will graphics performance compare to what I already have? (which I really am happy with in this respect). Does the 320m pass the 9600gt? Where does the 330m stand?

Don't trash it. Send it to me. 330M will beat 8800GS and 9600M GT easily without too much effort.

noting the 3dMark06 score, and then finding the 3dmark06 score for a stock iMac with 8800GS (24" I think). Not a be-all-end-all comparison but good for a base reference I suppose.

Yeah my card is actually the 8800M GTS, so it passes even the 330m by miles. Dam it I really wanted to go laptop! I don't really play games anymore but I have a large collection, and would like to keep that option open for the future.
