If you think deeply about what the internet really is, what do you come up with?

All these bright colours and peeps I see on here? Is it just data codes etc?

I think the web is an absolutely amazing invention and I am so glad that it is around in my lifetime.

Oh the mind boggles.

Um.....just the internet? Dude, I hate for you to find out like this, but we live in a matrix. None of this is real, not even you.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to take my pills. Now if I could only remember whether it was the blue one or the red one..... *ponders*

Who reads instructions??!?!?!?!?

It says, and I quote:

Page 3, paragraph 2:
"INSTALLATION: Red Pill: Take orally with preferred beverage.
Blue Pill: Take orally with preferred beverage.

WARNING: Taking both pills within any 24 hour period of time could result in the destruction of the universe. The fabric of time and space could be ripped, causing an implosion of never-been-seen-before magnitude.

Please do not take either pill if any version of Microsoft Windows is being used."

THAT's why you read the instructions!

Underlying patterns that generate seeming coherence are miraculous. They keep physicists and poets up at night.

Unfortunately, I've lately been challenged with the question: "You think the Internet was invented so you wouldn't have to do dishes?"

By answering yes, I've painted myself into a corner. So I'm sticking by my story.

The Internet was invented so I wouldn't have to do dishes.

Now that's some miraculous coherence ...

[Al Gore] I invented it so that the antichrist would have a network up and running from which to control the world system when the dollar dies, and world wide panic produces runs on banks, global chaos and cataclysmic events accelerate the planet in to total anarchy, and all the good guys are gone. The only untouched area will be South Florida, still trying to get their voting machines to function. Bwahahaha.[/Al Gore]

P.S. This will be my new platform for '08

One time I took both the blue and red pills at the same time, an old man in a robe tapped me on the shoulder and told me that instead of remaining in the Matrix where we are now, or being freed from the Matrix and allowed to exist in the "real world," I would be put in a state that lied in the middle between the Matrix and reality.

Then he put me on the cast of "Full House."

To quote... er... someone (I know I read it in a newspaper, I just can't remember who wrote it or what paper :p), "the internet is an ingenious device allowing all sorts of chaps to keep bang up to date with the goings on in many female dormitories in various American universities"

:D
