Question for anyone using the optimum app or similar tv streaming app, ok if I'm in bed and basically just want to listen to the show instead of viewing it any way to turn off display streaming and just have audio play in the background?? If it means I need to jailbreak so be it.

I'm not 100 % sure of what you mean but i can watch a movie on Apples stock-app VIDEOS and close it, go in to multitasking and then swipe one time to the left and click play. I just hear sound that way.

Ah man, didn't think it would. At least not without a tweak. There's gotta be a tweak to really dim the display if not shut it off to just listen with headphones. Almost like the iPod touch or nano does.

Hmmmm. I just tried this, and while it doesn't work with the Video app, it does work with my other apps that play video content, like GPlayer, Air Video...
