Thinking of getting a rMBP, couple of questions to owners, gamers etc

So i "won" some money last week, and i want a new rMBP.

And i have a few questions to owners.

1. How are you liking your rMBP?
2. I know some games peform well, but what about newer games? Specifically devil may cry, dead space 3, far cry 3, crysis 3 etc

Im really in doubt if i should buy it now or wait to summer/Fall because of haswell.

But there will always be something thats better, maybe i should just take the plunge and buy

You people really need to put in 13 or 15 inch - the only thing common are the retina screen and an intel cpu. Beside that - it's a complete different computer.

It's quite clear that he is asking about the 15" rMBP. The answer to any gaming-related question about the 13" can be summarized as: lol no.

Haven't tried these, but Guild Wars 2, Dishonored and Borderlands 2 run well on high settings either 1920x1200 or 1680x1050. I expect the machine to run any game of coming years at 1680x1050 with med/high settings.

ah yes, should mentioned i was talking about the 15"

i have a 13" air now, but i want that screen relestate, and not sub 20 fps in diablo.

Thanks for all your answers. Im writing this as im going to visit my local apple dealer. Hope they have some in stock. I cant control the urge. its too big!

Diablo will be fine.

Crysis 3 is a no no.

My gaming PC below can only run Crysis 3 on medium @ 30fps so the rMBP will have no chance.

Why not spend the $2,000 on creating a beast of a desktop cause you will be disappointed gaming on a apple laptop
