Hi, i received a Macbook Pro last September for my birthday with UK student discount. It was the entry level model but I upgraded it to 4gb of ram. I left Britain in February to come to new Zealand for 5 months and left the laptop behind because i didn't want to travel with it and when I first got it I knew i would be leaving it for a long time. Originally I didn't want it because it was for uni which I'm going to in September and it seemed like a shame to only use it for 3 months and then leave it for 5 but my parents convinced me to just enjoy it while I had it. I was pretty annoyed when the 2010 version came out about 6 months later since now my laptop seems pretty old :( haha! Before I left I was using it for some gaming and a bit of 3D modeling in 3DS MAX on a partition and it was OK (better than the 4 year old family computer anyway) but now I'm thinking that it's going to be pretty outdated by the time I finish uni. Does anyone think it would be worth selling it and buying a low end iMac or a newer Macbook Pro. Maybe even a Mac Mini? Thanks
