Thinking of going from a 42mm S0 to a 40mm, but hate to lose bands...

I have a S0 SS 42mm AW which I've been meaning to upgrade. I like the bigger screen on the 42mm BUT I have smaller wrists and think the 40 would be a better pick. The Milanese Loop wraps all the way to the other side for it to fit me. I am thinking of getting the gold SS 40 BUT I hate to lose the ML and the Pride Band I own (which Apple doesn't sell anymore). Anyone with a similar dilemma? If I decide to go with the 40, what places will give me the most for the bands and S0 (stretch but worth asking)?
