I want an iPad 2.

If I have been purchasing books on iBooks, when I get an iPad 2 and sync my Apple ID to iBooks will it sync my books as well or can I only use them on the platform I purchased the book on (iPhone)?

Books downloaded from the iBookstore can be placed on up to five computers you own that you’ve authorized with your iTunes Store account. You can sync your books to all iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices you own.1 Audiobooks, PDF files, and ePub files*you've added to iTunes will appear in the Books section of your iTunes Library. To sync Books to your device, connect the device itto your computer using the white dock connector to USB cable that came with your device. In iTunes, select your device then click the Books tab. Choose the books you would like to read on your device and then press Sync. Books will sync to iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch even if iBooks is not installed; to read synced books, you will need to download iBooks from the App Store.
