1. That is based on coverage in your area. TMo is great in larger metro areas as a general rule but check coverage maps.
2. The sim slot is unlocked for use on TMo. Dont think Sprint works with "bring your phone" type deals but check their website.

Yes your Verizon 6+ will work on any gsm carrier.
Not on sprint though.
Either way T-Mobile would be a better option.

good info guys, thanks

so now that i know tmo is good, has anyone gone over with the new carrier paying the etf carrier?

my vzw contract ends next year (2015) in sept, i bought the 6+ outright so i didnt have to re up a contract. so my etf is $220.

is it easy to just switch carriers and keep same number?

Yes it's pretty easy to switch and keep your number.
I think for them to pay your etf you will have to turn in your old phone.
Do you still have the phone you had before the new 6 plus? Or any other Verizon smartphone? Contact T-Mobile for more details on the etf reimbursement.

How exactly is your bill fluctuating?

I would go with sprint where I live, but if T-Mobile has good coverage in your area, I'd go with them.

It'll work on T-Mobile but not Sprint.

T-Mobile. I switched from Sprint to T-Mobile and am very satisfied. The call quality is better, the data is faster, and being contract-free is a good bonus. Do the free T-Mobile test drive in your area to make sure you've got good coverage if you like... Try before you buy and all.
