As of right now, I have my MacMini(see sig) setup on a typical desk using a 19" CRT. However, I'm thinking it would be cool to hook it up to my 60" Sony Widescreen HDTV and using a BT keyboard and mouse from the couch. Has anyone done this? How well does it work with the Mini's graphics card? Just looking for some overall input before I buy the cables and keyboard/mouse. Thanks!

Cool, but dont expect to view HD video.

So it wont work just to do basic internet surfing and mail because the graphics card isnt powerful enough? I'm not going to use it for anything more CPU intensive then that. No HDTV recording or anything, if thats what you guys are talking about.

the mac mini should drive an hd display (like your tv) just fine, even 1080p. however, what they're saying is you won't be able to view hd content like h264 moviesi n hd.

Thank you, thats all I was looking for. I'll give it a shot tomorrow, maybe post some pics.

lol yea, people are jumping the gun.

Ive seen the Mac Mini hooked up to windescreen HD tv and it looks pretty dang nice. it was a POS LCD actually. a 50" Akai and it looked fairly nice so on ur Sony, I can only drool. The icons looked nice and crisp. No lag of that nature and screen was in widescreen format so no black bars. I dont see you having any problems.
