2018 MBP with touchbar...2 week’s old, stuck in an infinite loop of rebooting, unlocking hard drive, rebooting again.

Try to boot up, the screen is black, but the touchbar shows “esc” and the keyboard backlight is on. It’s like it thinks it’s connected to a display but isnt. When it finally realizes I can’t login, screen lights up shows the “password reset” then “unlock hard drive” screens. Accepts password then tries to reboot. Blank screen, repeat. I’ve been through this loop 5 times. I can’t believe there’s no way to break out!!! Incredibly frustrated. Any ideas how to hard reset or something?

Thanks for the reply. Had to disable FileVault to get the screen to finally decide it wanted to light up. Very weird.
