Just looking for some thin case options that have the MagSafe magnets embedded in them. I don't like big bulky cases since the phone is so huge. Already tried one cheap Torras thin case from Amazon hoping it would be thin enough for the MagSafe to hold but it doesn't since it doesn't have any magnets in it. I can't stand the clear cases where you can see the magnets, so a solid color is preferred. Also not looking to spend $60 like I did on a Pitaka case last year.

I'd even consider a bumper type of case that only protects the edges and camera bump.

Or adding MagSafe magnets to a case if possible.

Spigen Thin Fit is probably the thinnest from a reputable company. When you get cases this thin, magsafe embedded is thicker than the case, so the magsafe just works through the case. Works fine this way. If you want an additional magnet embedded, the Apple branded cases are probably as thin as you can get.

Most super thin clear cases like Totallee, Peel, and BareCases still works with MagSafe without having the MagSafe ring in the back. I'm currently using a Totallee clear case and my MagSafe wallet and MagSafe charger sticks fine on them but still not as strong as if you had a dedicated case with a MagSafe ring.

This is the car mount that I got since it was $12 off with a promo code: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B091HRXDDZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And this is the case I got, which is only 0.03" thick. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09471J3G7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Unfortunately it will fall off the mount in my vehicle if I hit a decent sized bump, so that's why I'm looking for a MagSafe case now. Not sure if it matters at all, but I tested this out with my current iPhone 12 Pro Max since I'm still waiting on the 13 to come. I can't imagine there is a difference in magnets though. Without a case, the magnetic connection to the Anker mount is nice and strong.

They don't in a car. It slides off. We need that magsafe on the case too to hold it well over bumps.

Ordered a Ringke Matt clear magsafe, will see how it goes.

This is most likely gonna be the thinnest case you're gonna get with a very strong magnetic. The only downside with this case is, it's very stiff and that makes it hard to take the phone out.

I think is the best bet.

Well I am happy to report that the Spigen Mag Armor case works great with the Anker magnetic car mount. The case is definitely not the thinnest there is, but it has an integrated MagSafe magnet, and the feel of the case is great. It holds onto the mount in my vehicle very nicely. I snagged this case when it was priced at $19.99 on Amazon. Looks like it is $24.99 now https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B096HD446R?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

Anyone want to buy a blue Pitaka MagEZ iPhone 12 Pro Max case, wallet, and car mount for a good deal?

I’m in the same hunt for one that fits iPhone 13 Pro. Everything I find that actually has a MagSafe-compatible ring is too thick or heavy. The only ones that are truly “ultra-thin” like Bare or Peel don’t have MagSafe. Which kind of makes sense. The thickness of the back needs to have enough space to hide a decently strong magnet. However, I did notice Peel made some MagSafe cases for iPhone 12 last year, so it’s not impossible.

So far I think the official Apple series is probably the best fit for thinness and reliable MagSafe.

i’m a fan of pitaka. they have the magez 2 case that has the magnet, and also the air case without it which i have. i bought a magsafe car mount and the air case for my 13 pro and it’s plenty strong. if you have the max then i would maybe go for the magez 2. all other cases with magnets i’ve seen are bulkier than i’d like.

Got this case from Amazon, very thin, has MagSafe built in and metallic buttons

Thanks for posting the link, I was trying to find a case that was secure on my Brodit MagSafe car mount, this one works perfectly.
