I have a first Gen G5 (dual 2.0) and have 2 monitors setup already to it.
I'd like to run a third monitor in my vocal isolation booth (about 30feet away).

First off ... how do i get a third monitor feed?
Second off ... where can I find cables long enough to feed my LCD or Plasma for the third display?

thanks for the replies

You are probably going to want repeaters for that kind of length. Or a conversion box to go to optical. But i have never tried either of those options.

Normal DVI cables are only rated for up to 5 meters (about 15 feet) so you will need a repeater to get the full 30ft (10M).

As for a third connection. The best option is a second video card. However, you are will to mirror one of your existing displays (and have the same resolution on both) you can use a cheap DVI splitter.

Shouldn't SVGA be fine for this? From what I gather he just want to see the screen in the soundbooth, maybe be able to hit record and stop. I don't think it's for intensive work at the monitor.
