Third-Party Battery for MBP acting odd

Hey All,
I bought this battery from buy.com for its low price and very good reviews... the battery clearly states its capacity is 5800mAh. The battery I received is identical to the one pictured (with a stated capacity of 5800mAh). However, coconut battery and System Profiler both report the capacity of the battery as 4400mAh! I went through the manufacturer's instructions for breaking-in the battery, but the capacity is still reported as 4400mAh.

Now, did I get ripped-off, and the battery has lower capacity than advertised, or is the MBP not able to report the capacity accurately? Anyone have any experience with third-party batteries?

I've had bad luck with buy.com. I wouldn't buy a thumbtack from them.
