Third party keyboard cases

There doesn’t seem to be many posts or reviews of third party keyboard cases.

You know the ones you find on Amazon and Ali Express.

Are they not any good? Sure, perhaps they’re not as well built but they do have many features not found on Apple’s offerings...and substantially cheaper.

Or is it a status thing and having an Apple branded keyboard?

It’s the connection quality problem with bluetooth keyboards. Often creates lags and input delays.

Has this been your personal experience?
I’ve had Zagg and Logitech bluetooth keyboards that never lagged.

My concern with some of third party keyboards is the hard plastics used. Of course many peripherals are likely made with common parts (unless they’re willing to spend more on better plastics).

Honestly, I think there are some hidden gems. But short of ordering a bunch from Amazon, it’s hard to know.

Buy the one with all 5 star reviews where the reviewers all leave 3 word comments. You know those aren't fake reviews!

On a serious note, keyboards that use the licensed connector ( has Apple licensed that out for 3rd parties ?) would be best. Some people have had good experiences with bluetooth keyboards, but I have not. They were all pretty laggy for me. I might be I'm in an area with a lot of wireless devices and there is interference.
