Since Sierra I've been using USB Overdrive to get the media keys (play/pause/previous/next/volume/zoom, etc) to work on my Microsoft Natural Ergonomic keyboard 4000. It's been working fine, but since 10.15 the USB Overdrive software still works but the media key events aren't captured by USB Overdrive. Upon further inspection I've come to realise that the IntelliType drivers by Microsoft do not appear to be 64-bit (regardless of what's stated by Microsoft on their download page) and will not install.
Does anyone know if there are third party drivers for Microsoft keyboards that actually work to replace IntelliType on MacOS 10.15? Are there other ways of fixing the problem with the media keys not working?
