So the specs are:

- 2.2ghz i7 quad
- 4gb RAM
- 750gb hdd
- 6750 1gb
- 1440 x 900 screen

It's the "early" 2011 MBP version.....although I have to say I really don't see that huge of a difference between the early and late 2011 versions. The final price I paid was $1,340. I plan on mainly using this as a desktop PC hooked up to a 24" 1920 x 1200 monitor, and I'll buy the magic trackpad/mouse and apple keyboard w/ the numeric keypad.

Good deal?

Yes AWESOME deal - you paid 1,341.18 to be exact :)

lol.....yes I did.

from Amazon - It was 16xx 2 days ago and yesterday dropped to 1461 and then today it dropped to 1341.18

I also scored one - even though it said one available.

PM - If you want so more info - because the deal can be even better.

Pathetically enough, I can't seem to find the PM option on this forum.

Yes. VERY.

The Early 2011 2.2GHz model is actually faster than the Late 2011 2.2GHz model. And the CPU supports up to 32GB of RAM as well, if and when we get 2x16GB sticks...

I'm assuming that the MBP was purchased from Amazon Warehouse; am I correct?

I'd like to find a similar deal on a 13" MBP...

I checked the 13" MBP deals this morning. The savings aren't enough for me to take the chance with an open-box return. The price that I saw wasn't much less than a brand new late 2011 MBP... And Apple refurbs are a much better deal.

Prices change constantly - as does supply
