this message keeps popping up! and after it asks if i want to turn on airplane mode. infact, my phone just did it again! in the middle of no where, when my phone is just sitting on my desk it gives me the message. and, if i just wait until the message goes away, the phones sound stops so i have to restart it. has this happened to anyone else?

Bad flex cable.

It happened to me, after my just gotten out of the pool sister sat on it, and continued doing that every couple of minutes for about two months
is that sarcasm? because nothing has ever happened to my phone. i just occasionally drop it on my bed

He had moisture in his flex cable, it eventually went away. Yours won't, it's actually going bad. There are several small SMD's on the flex cable that fail.

will apple replace it?

If Apple wont help you, you can probably find companies that offer repair services.

I get that message every once in a while when I plug my 3G into my Universal Dock. Does it really mean there's something wrong with my phone?

I get it on my china made dock I bought in Singapore. It still charges but won't recognise through itunes. I just ignore the message.

Everything works when I plug my iPhone into my new Universal Dock (charges, syncs, etc.) but I get that message about 25% of the time. I was thinking maybe it really wasn't compatible, and that I should take it back and get the 3G dock. Is it worth the hassle?
