This accessory is not supported pop up on jailbroke 3gs

It's probably a hardware issue with the dock connector, but I'm just curious if anyone with a jailbroken 3gs has had their phone randomly pop up this message even when not plugged into anything?

Usually that is a problem with the dock connector, but it could be something as simple as dust causing it. You should try to clean it carefully (and without solvents...especially alcohol).

Thanks, seems to have cleared up thus far... Also unjail broke trying to fix, but that DID NOT fix it... I think what is causing it - my bf fumbles a lot when he goes to plug his phone into the charger and that may have bent one of the pins or something out of order... Miraculously though it's fine now, thank goodness since he still has 6 months before he can upgrade.

The JB has nothing to do with this problem. It's either dirt, water damage, or the fumbling BF. keep the BF if this is the only thing he keeps fumbling.
