So an entirely issue, now after cleaning the lint out of my charging port when connected to my car charger my phone will suddenly say stop charging and give me the popup "this accessory may not be supported." What could be causing this? Would replacing the charger help? Or could it still be lint/dirt in the socket? I'm so frustrated.

The only way to really know is to try another cable/charger and see.

This sometimes happens when you are using a non-apple charger. It typically fixes itself, but the only way to fix the problem is use an apple charger.

*if you are using an official apple charger then I have no idea.
