Still, that's not too shabby at all. Almost 3 days worth of standby and 15 hours of usage. Most phones can only dream of that.
That's not bad, I wonder how it would've been if you didn't have Facebook running in the background!
I would also like the to know the screen on time for these stats. All you have to do is click on the clock icon or any of the apps listed on the battery usage screen to get the screen on time numbers for each app. Then, just add them up and we will know how much actual time the screen was on and used while achieving these numbers.
"usage" doesnt really mean much here... the screen is the one consuming the battery. stats without the hint of the screen on time are quite meaningless.
and if you ask from me, the way apple shows the battery stat was a clever choice from them. it lets people to think about how great the battery life is giving you some odd numbers but hiding the real usage. in the mean while android for example gives you the exact usage - not some odd arbitrary info which gives you nothing...
I think it's pretty cool comparing versions of iOS, but it's worthless in comparing cross platform.
But yeah, the iPhone 6S+ battery is fantastic
Well, it's not really meaningless as the device is still using some battery at times when the screen is off and it makes sense to account for that. That said, certainly a minute of that kind of usage vs. a minute of usage of the phone with the screen on are different as far as how much battery is used, but then so is a minute of simply having the screen on and looking at the home screen wile on WiFi with a good cellular signal compared to a minute of gaming while being in an area with poor cellular reception--basically there are often more nuances involved that even having on-screen time wouldn't really account for.
